Youth Skillz workshops are five weeks of learning food preparation and cooking. Youth will spend time learning to cook dessert, breakfast, appetizer and dinner items. The workshops run the first and third Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at New Hope Church at 334 Second Ave Albany, NY. The workshops are free to youth ages 8 to 17. These workshops are done by New Hope Church in partnership with RISE. Los talleres de Habilidades Juveniles consisten en cinco semanas de aprendizaje de preparación y cocina. Los jóvenes aprenderán a preparar postres, desayunos, aperitivos y cenas. Los talleres se realizan el primer y tercer jueves de cada mes, de 18:30 a 20:00 h, en la Iglesia New Hope, ubicada en 334 Second Ave, Albany, NY. Son gratuitos para jóvenes de 8 a 17 años. Estos talleres son impartidos por la Iglesia New Hope en colaboración con RISE.
