Cooking for Kids | New Hope Church
Trying to love our community at times seems like the quote from the Robots movie "See a need, fill a need." The Cooking for Kids outreach is one that resembles this quote. As New Hope Church was partnering with the Hoffman Community Center on different events to benefit the community it became known some kids who were attending the community center were not eating dinner. New Hope Church saw this need for the children in our community and we responded by providing a home cooked meal Tuesday evenings during the school year (September through June.) We prepare the meal in the church kitchen and then bring it to the community center which is located behind the church so kids can have a home cooked meal.
